We listened to a few tracks such as:

These two tracks had the steady mysterious sounds that we were looking for however, there wasn't any progression of melody or harmony. Both tracks had the same monotonous feel until the end which we thought would not have any impact on the atmosphere of the thriller opening and wouldn't establish a sense of tension which is a key convention of the thriller genre.
