Below is the letter that was sent to Rosie, who will play the role of Andrea:
Below is a short edited clip of the scenes we filmed:
Following the preliminary shoot we have established which angles are best for certain scenes and have an established location to film. Looking at the footage, it is clear to see that the camera shook in some scenes where it was attached to the tripod, perhaps due to windy whether or because it was not securely attached. As a result, we will need to check and secure all equipment before use and have interval checks of the equipment during filming. In terms of lighting, it can be noted that some of the lighting is wrong, for example in the coffee shop, the aperture was too high and so the camera was exposed to too much light. We will need to re-shoot all of these scenes.
Below are some example shots of poor lighting from the clip:
Moreover, we have concluded that the character should have her hair down rather than tied up as this would help the character to look older and more mysterious as her hair would cover her face more; this will help to establish enigma. Furthermore, the character will be wearing makeup but only natural-looking makeup as we do not want the protagonist to appear glamorous but older.
In terms of sound, we believe that the soundtrack we selected was appropriate as the guitar started slow and gradually sped up and then slowed down. We also liked how the title screens integrated well with the film shots and was not disjointed or jarring to watch. The integrated title screens also helped to establish some time passing and broke up scenes, making the overall clip more aesthetically pleasing to watch and more engaging rather than action clips played one after another, which would be boring.
